Meet some of the fantastic people who make up Camphill

Anna sits in the grass, smiling

Anna Falch

Anna, who is from Germany, spent a year volunteering at Plowshare Farm. Since then, she’s loved visiting with her fellow coworkers from all around the world.

Following in her older brother’s footsteps, Anna spent a year of service at Plowshare Farm. During her time at Plowshare Farm, Anna enjoyed her work on the farm, especially when she was gardening, cooking, or caring for animals. Most of all, Anna loved spending quality time with her housemates and friends.

“No matter where you’re from or what your challenges might be, you’ll find respect and openness right there”

One of the most meaningful parts of Anna’s Camphill experience was connecting with other volunteers from all around the world. Interacting with such a diverse community of volunteers taught Anna about a wide range of cultures. Since returning home to Germany, Anna has reunited with many of her friends from Camphill, and they have enjoyed recalling their favorite memories from their time at Plowshare Farm.

In the future, Anna hopes to continue her work with people with disabilities. Her dream is to combine her passions into a career relating to therapy and sports.
